Learn special Shiatsu acupressure points and Thai-based table work techniques to amplify relief from shoulder pain and tension. These techniques will dramatically address the muscular, respiratory, and energetic issues underlying most shoulder tension and will impress your clients with immediately better results!

This workshop will:

  • Provide you with Myofascial and Thai-Shiatsu techniques -  including a shoulder routine adapted for table work.
  • Review the anatomy of the anterior and posterior shoulder.
  • Introduce important acupressure points and ki flow in this region of the body.
  • Focus on working with both the client's and practitioner's breath and mindfulness.

Randy Cummins has had a private practice in Chicago, Illinois for over 20 years. The Lauterstein-Conway is honored and pleased to bring Randy down to Austin four times each year to teach in our Semester Two and Three programs. Randy Cummins was on the faculty of The Chicago School of Massage Therapy for 20 years and, for the past 15 years, at The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School as well. Randy has provided trainings since 1985 throughout the United States, in Jamaica and in Puerto Rico. He is a nationally respected expert practitioner and instructor of many forms of therapy, including deep tissue, shiatsu, and Thai massage. His expertise, humor and perspective have helped thousands of students access the deepest principles of massage therapy.
