"After school I had enough luxury to practice massage from home, but since, I have also done work in spas, country clubs, and day spas. Now I am in private practice."

What are the best reasons to become a massage therapist?

"If you like being in motion, if you like working physically, massage therapy is great. I get to deal with people who smell good and are happy to see me."

Why did you become a massage therapist?

"Jealousy. My nearest and dearest friend at the time had started classes, and he was enjoying classes way too much. I figured it seemed like something I could do. He had started to get me to participate, and he was beginning to show me techniques that he was learning. I figured I should just sign up for a class."
