The TLCschool Retreat class is essentially a spa day for massage therapists in which participants will learn techniques to rejuvenate their "tools" and prolong their careers by protecting their bodies.
We will cover:
- Easy yoga poses that can be done between clients to ease the aches and pains of long days.
-
More in depth yoga postures that can be done daily to promote overall health and well being.
-
A self massage routine for forearms and hands to prevent and treat common overuse injuries.
-
A full routine for forearms and hands that can be used in your practice.
-
Hydrotherapy for the forearms and hands.
Participants will leave the TLCschool Retreat feeling refreshed and able to protect your body from the rigors a very physical profession. Therapists will be able to share these techniques with your clients who suffer from overuse injuries as well.
Take care of yourself so that you can better care for others!
