To return an item purchased from TLC, please bring the new unused item and your original receipt to the front desk during normal store hours and the “Retail Manager” will be happy to help you. In order to process a return, please follow the guidelines outlined below.
Return Guidelines
1. Return period: You may return an item within 30 days from the original purchase date.
2. Original receipt: Original receipt is required for all returns.
3. Condition: Item must be in their original condition; new, unopened, unused, contain all original packaging and accessories, and binding intact for textbooks.
4. Discounts and Promotions: The refund value for each item returned will be reduced to reflect the value of a free gift or discount.
5. Non-returnable items: Some items are not able to be returned. Please note the following:
- Opened lubricants
- Pre-paid cards such as Internship Gift Certificates
- Consumable items such as food, drink
- Items that are missing packaging including shrink wrap
- Non-current magazines and periodicals
- Items that are used, wrote on or damaged
- Etched or otherwise personalized items
- Opened CDs and DVDs
6. TLC discretion: TLC reserves the right to deny any return.
