Networking Event

We invite Austin’s alternative health community – massage therapists, yoga teachers, acupuncturists and more – for an evening of tapas and community at Lauterstein-Conway’s Annual Networking Event

As with every profession, a thriving practice or business depends on a strong network. Alternative healthcare networks are made of massage therapists, acupuncturists, yoga teachers and other healthcare professionals.

We invite Austin’s alternative health community for an evening of enlivening networking at Lauterstein-Conway’s Annual Networking Event

Visit with old friends from school and build new networks with other professionals.

We will have a distinguished speaker, Marny Lifshen, author of Some Assembly Required:  A Networking Guide for Women, give a talk on networking and guide us in an exercise to enhance our skills.

Join together for this wonderful free opportunity to expand your network and have a really fun, tasty, illuminating evening! Bring your appetite and your business cards.


 

PARKING at TLC:

We have 40 spaces here at the school itself. Please do not park in the surrounding businesses’ lots.  if our parking lot is full, you can park across the street on 47th or on Rosedale.  Additionally you may carpool and/or refer to the parking map, which will direct you to additional parking we provide at the Unitarian Church just behind the school.

 COLLECTING YOUR CE CREDITS:

 

To receive a 2-hour CE certificate, please arrive no later than 6:00 p.m. and plan to stay until 8:00 p.m. You will be required to sign in and out. If you are not interested in the continuing education credits, you are welcome to leave any time.

 


Featured Presenter – Marny L. Lifshen

Marny Lifshen is an author, speaker and marketing communications and public relations consultant, with more than 20 years of experience. She works with businesses to develop brand awareness and credibility with key audiences, and to establish relationships with key influencers. Marny integrates grass-roots strategies into every marketing campaign, including customized networking programs.

Marny graduated from The University of Texas with a Bachelor of Journalism in 1991. In 2009, Marny was named a winner of the Profiles in Power and Women of Influence Awards hosted by the Austin Business Journal. She serves on the Governing Board of The BeHive, and on the steering committee of the Austin chapter of the National Speakers Association.

Marny is the author of Some Assembly Required: A Networking Guide for Women, which was recognized as the business category winner for the 2009 Eric Hoffer Awards for Independent Books. She is a nationally recognized expert on professional women’s networking, communication and personal branding, and is the featured networking columnist and forum leader for w2wlink.com. She is a seasoned key note speaker, break-out session leader and panelist for conferences and events across the country. She also creates custom workshops for corporate
