In 2010-2011, Lauterstein-Conway is offering on-site and clinic massage services to Ballet Austin company members and apprentices. Please read below carefully for information about how to book and how to pay for each service.
OPTION 1: On-site Massage Therapy Services at the Ballet Austin facility
In an effort to be more accessible to Ballet Austin dancers and apprentices, Lauterstein-Conway Massage School & Clinic is providing an on-site massage therapist who is available for 30-minute and 60-minute massage sessions one day/week.
When: The on-site massage therapist is available to you Wednesday evenings from 5-8 p.m. at the Ballet Austin facility downtown. Services provided are by-appointment only.
Your on-site massage therapist: Ellen Hauck, LMT, grew up dancing in Louisiana. She received a BA from the University of Southern Mississippi. Ellen taught dance and performed professionally in the South and in New York. Ellen received massage bi-weekly as part of her dance regimen over the past ten years and has experienced the rehabilitation process of injuries firsthand. Her massage style is therapeutic and integrative, including Swedish, Sports, Deep, and Clinical modalities. She is also a cerified Pilates instructor.
How to book on-site appointments: Appointments with Ellen must be booked online 2-30 days in advance. TLCschool's cancellation policy does apply to on-site massage services. To book your on-site massage appointment now, click the Book Now button below.
How to pay: After you book online, you will receive a confirmation email that will provide details about your voucher, paying for your session including PayPal links and gratuity for your massage therapist.
OPTION 2: Graduate Clinic Massage Therapy Services at Lauterstein-Conway Massage School & Clinic
When: Professional massage appointments through our Graduate Clinic are included on our current Scheduling Calendar, which is regularly updated and can be downloaded on the main Clinic page. For last minute availability, call 512.453-2830.
Your Grad Clinic massage therapist: The Graduate Clinic professional massage therapists have a minimum of 500 hours of training, many have much more. These integrative sessions reflect the therapist’s deeper familiarity with anatomy and physiology as well as training in additional modalities including Deep Massage, Structural work, Sports Massage and other advanced modalities.
