Lauterstein-Conway is now offering a Massage Therapist Networking Event for local LMTs, employers and the community.
2009 Networking Event:
The 2009 Massage Therapist Networking Event Meet Your Massage Therapist was Friday, June 12th at the Lauterstein-Conway Massage School.
Participants learned how to talk to prospective clients and employers with this introduction to networking and received two free CE credits!
Presented by Scot Maitland, TLC's business instructor and Jennifer Shaw, Director of Marketing and Sales at TLC, the lecture portion of the event included information about the basics of networking, elevator speeches and taglines.
After the lecture, members of the public, employers and other LMTs mingled and networked in TLC's first Networking Event.
Several TLC graduates were on-hand providing mini-massage therapy sessions attendee. Modalities available included Body Mobilization Techniques, Chair Massage, Zero Balancing and Asian Bodywork. After their sessions, attendees were able to watch sessions being performed. Thanks to all the wonderful volunteers!
