In addition to soft tissue manipulations, students will learn Asian bodywork involving specific sequences of acu-pressure points and compressions to areas of musculoskeletal and energetic tension.
Shiatsu clients will experience dramatic relief of musculo-skeletal tension and pain, healthier posture, freer movement and less bodily-held stress.
The hands-on continuing education workshop is designed for practitioners of all levels of study.
One of the most adaptable modalities, the routine taught is easily adapted to the table, and elements of the technique translate to chair massage, as well.
Participants will leave with a basic understanding of Asian Bodywork and having learned a basic, full-body Thai-Shiatsu floor routine.
