Alchemy of Touch with David Lauterstein

Alchemy of Touch is an exciting Zero Balancing class that gives participants the skills and knowledge to work with amplified energy fields.  You will learn how create  special alchemical fulcrums and perform alchemical sessions enabling clients to let go of deeply held chronic tension in energy and structure.  (prerequisite the 50 hour Core ZB training).

Some of the most common workplace and recreational injuries are: plantar fasciitis, shin splints, anterior compartment syndrome, and painful, tight calves.  For all of these, massage therapy is one of the very best treatments.  In this workshop, you will learn to understand the relevant anatomy much better and learn specific protocols to help your clients deeply relieve their tension and injury.

Ida Rolf focused on the pelvis as the center point of our physical structure and therefore its dysfunction playing a central role in many orthopedic complaints. In Clinical Massage for Sciatica and Piriformis Syndrome you will learn how to assess and address these issues, particularly and how they relate to the iliotibial band, gluteal tension, lower back pain, and the sacro-iliac ligaments.

TMJ Dysfunction: An Integrated Clinical Approach with Christopher Fritel

Orthopedic Massage for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome with Kevin Graef

We have, unfortunately, the computer culture to thank for the epidemic of carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) and forearm and hand tension syndromes. This is a repetitive strain injury that affects more people each day. To address it you need to know the causes, special tests to assess CTS, myofascial release techniques for the relevant muscles, tendons and ligaments, stretches, and self-massage for clients to help them overcome this all-to-commonly chronic problem.

This important class, taught by one of the foremost deep tissue instructors in the world, Brian Utting, will give you tremendous clarity and skill for working with clients’ neck issues.

Zero Balancing I with David Lauterstein

Zero Balancing has been, since the 1970’s one of the most powerful and pathbreaking therapies within the bodywork realm.  It was developed by Fritz Smith, MD arising from his studies and training in osteopathy, Rolfing, acupuncture, Eastern and Western views of anatomy and energy.   Zero Balancing gives therapists the ability to fully address the musculo-skeletal system, concentrating on the connective tissues, joints, and energy flow in relationship to the bones, creating balance and ease within the deepest layers of the body’s energy and structure.  David Lauterstein has been enthusiastically teaching Zero Balancing for over 20 years.
