Participants will learn about the "Big Three" criteria used by medical professionals to diagnose fibromyalgia. The definition of fibromyalgia will be discussed as well as sleep disturbances, how to deal with tender points in tissue, and general management of pain and tension.
Jan Hutchinson, LMT, has been a massage therapist and teacher of soft tissue therapies for over twenty years. She is also a certified practioner of Neuromuscular Therapy and Zero Balancing, having studies with Fritz Smith since 1989.
