Deep Massage: The Lauterstein Method is a unique approach to structural and energetic bodywork.  It has its roots in Zero Balancing, Rolfing, and Structural Bodywork.  The emphasis is not so much on pressure, as how to effectively and deeply contact the person.  When the client lets go from inside out, the healing is deeper and it is less hard work for the therapist.

In Deep Massage I, you will learn 25 specific, clear new techniques for working with the back, pelvis, legs, front torso, shoulders, neck and head.  There will be close table-side supervision and individualized feedback to ensure you develop the skills to fully engage your body, mind and spirit in doing deep massage.

Each participant will receive free with the workshop a 60 page manual and a 2 hour DVD with the basic Deep Massage protocol you will learn.  The DVD includes a talk from David about some of the ideas behind his work, a full session demonstration, and additional close-up demonstrations of each of the basic Deep Massage techniques.
