Chair Massage is, from both a therapeutic and marketing standpoint, an essential modality for every massage therapist. In this workshop you will learn a compact, well-choreographed style of bodywork from one of the finest chair massage instructors in the U.S.
The unique routine you will learn utilizes friction and melting techniques on acupressure points. This routine is also necessary for you as a therapist as it ensures your own physical health by paying close attention to proper body mechanics.
Upon completion, you will be able to give a thorough Chair Massage including neck, back, shoulders, arms and hands.
Cindy Anderson, LMT, has been a Therapist since 1989. She is a senior instructor of Swedish Massage, Hydroptherapy, Sports Massage and Shiatsu at The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School. Her other advanced studies include Chair Massage, Reflexology, Deep Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Cranio-sacral Therapy, Zero Balancing and Waterdance.
