We look at
the area of the body responsible for a total annual cost, of an estimated
$100 billion per year. When you consider that the vast majority of
chronic low back pain is of soft tissue origin, it would be beneficial
to know the proper protocol for releasing this soft tissue for pain
relief and better health. This class specifically addresses the muscles
that cause the majority of back pain issues, with little to no effort
for the well trained massage therapist. The techniques incorporate
trigger point therapy, myofacial release, deep tissue and movement
simultaneously to accomplish tremendous results in very little time.
The ergonomics of the therapist are of prime importance at all times.
Cost of the class is $250, including manual.
Ted Kennett went into massage therapy in 1992 in Austin, Texas, as a major career change from the hectic corporate pace of America. Ted attended the Austin School of Wellbeing for his basic studies, but basic is never enough for Ted, in 1994 he completed the requirements for National Certification. Ted has studied various modalities over the years from Boston to California and all parts in between. Wanting to share his knowledge with others Ted became a School instructor and has taught Anatomy, Physiology, Business, and Technique. When the State of Texas introduced registration for CEU providers Ted was at the forefront and received his CEU certification. Ted's technique for massage has been accepted and promoted in both the complimentary and traditional medical community. Ted's studies are ongoing, as he is studying through Trinity College for his Naturopathic Doctor Degree as you are reading this.
