About the Workshop:
Geometry of Healing (GOH) is an advanced level Zero Balancing course that teaches students how to work directly with the vibratory/energtic fields of the body. It defines ‘fields’ and then teaches how to access and evaluate vibratory fields, obtain information contained therein, and how to balance and clarify the designated field or material. The program shows how to work with slowed vibratory fields to access “the gap” (an experience of stepping beyond time, space, and information — a field of pure potential). Much of the theoretical material presented is based on quantum physics, holograms, field theory, and how they relate to the world of touch. GOH is the third of three Zero Balancing courses related to energy fields: Core Zero Balancing addresses the relationship between existing body energy fields and body structure; Alchemy of Touch applies amplification strategies to balance energy fields; GOH works with the fields themselves including the space between vibrations.
You Will Learn:
- Theory of fields
- Accessing, evaluating and navigating fields
- Creation of ‘windows’ into the field
- Entering and experiencing the ‘gap’ within the field
- Compression of fields
- Obtaining information from within the field
- Self-referencing body signals as feedback for practitioner
- Teachings designed to deepen your basic ZB skills and protocol use
- Through exchanges of Zero Balancing sessions and demonstrations
David Lauterstein, LMT, MTI, Cert. ZB, TLC School Co-Director, has been in massage and bodywork practice since 1977 and has become one of the most highly respected international educators in the massage therapy realm – inducted in 2011 into the Massage Therapy Hall of Fame, honored as the 2012 recipient of AMTA’s Jerome Perlinski Teacher of the Year Award, and in 2013 by the Alliance for Massage Therapy Education as “Educator of the Year.” David regularly teaches in England and throughout the U.S since 1982. He is the author of the books, Putting the Soul Back in the Body: A Manual of Imaginative Anatomy for Massage Therapists and The Deep Massage Book: How to Combine Structure and Energy in Bodywork. He is certified in Structural Bodywork and Zero Balancing and is a faculty member of the Zero Balancing Health Association. His background prior to massage therapy was in philosophy and music composition (BA, U of Illinois, 1972). Click hereto learn more about David, his books, and classes.
Jamie Carmody, LMT
After completing a BA at the University of Texas at Austin and several years of travel, including three years living in Spain, I began my massage career in 1994. In 1999, I took my first Zero Balancing Core class and knew that Zero Balancing was for me! Since then, the bulk of my study has been focused on Zero Balancing with Dr. Fritz Smith, Zero Balancing’s founder. I became certified in 2002. I now proudly and enthusiastically form part of the Zero Balancing faculty and look forward to bringing ZB more fully into the lives of my clients and the greater community.
