Beginning Monday, August 17th, Lauterstein-Conway Massage School's Graduate Massage Clinic will be partnering with Ballet Austin to offer the 2009-20010 season's twenty Ballet Austin professional company members professional massage services.
The partnership grew from the two organizations' mutual desire to provide quality wellness services to some of Austin's most prestigious professional athletes.
Each of the twenty company members will recieve one discounted professional massage per month through May 2010 from Lauterstein-Conway's Graduate Clinic.
According to John Conway, Lauterstein-Conway co-director and AMTA certified sports massage therapist, a majority of the school's Clinic clients receive Swedish massage sessions for relaxation purposes. But with the new Ballet Austin partnership starting, the Graduate Clinic is anticipating more requests for sports and deep massage therapies.

Conway says, "People who are really working their muscles will need soft tissue work that will facilitate recovery from overuse and minor injuries and muscle fatigue."
With over 500 hours of training in Swedish, Sports, Clinical, Integrative and Deep massage modalities, Graduate Clinic massage therapists are trained to anticipate and skillfully address Ballet Austin company members' massage session concerns.
The Graduate Clinic has been operating for more than five years, and each Graduate Clinic massage therapist is hand-picked by Lauterstein-Conway's long-time Lauterstein-Conway Massage Clinic Director, Julie Renfro.
The Graduate Clinic is open to the public. Sixty and ninety-minute massage sessions are available year-round.
In addition to the Graduate Clinic discount company members will recieve, Ballet Austin company members, interns and apprentices will also recieve one free Student Clinic massage session this Fall.
Lauterstein-Conway Massage School's Student Clinic is staffed by students who are completing the 500 professional massage training hours required for licensure by the State of Texas.
In return for its offerings to Ballet Austin company members, interns and apprentices, Lauterstein-Conway will receive sponsorship status for Ballet Austin's upcoming performance season.
The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School (TLC or TLCschool) was founded in 1989 to provide a supportive environment for massage education and healing. Now in its 21st year, the TLC's comprehensive, 500-hour program is one of the only programs of its length that includes detailed training in Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy and Bodywork.
Ballet Austin is one of the preeminent dance companies in the United States. Ballet Austin's professional company is employed thirty-four weeks a year and dances in five different main-stage productions under innovative artistic director Stephen Mills.
