Anatomy is the cornerstone of effective massage therapy.

In Anatomy Review: Head, Neck and Torso, instructors will take the time to thoroughly guide participants in an exploration of the superficial and deep structures of the head neck and spine from the massage therapist’s point of view.

Topics covered:

  • Origin / Insertion /  Action
  • Bony landmarks
  • Endangerments
  • Palpation methods

This class will enable participants to address the deeper layers of tension in a safe and effective manner through a working knowledge of the anatomy of the head, neck and torso.
